Your Adsense Ads may be revealing more than you want

If you run Adsense on your websites, you should take a look at the relatively new feature on the ads, the "Advertise on this Site" link.

That link goes to a page that promotes Adwords and it's ability to target specific adsense publishers with ads.

That page, however, by default contains your company name. So if you're the type who likes to fly under the SEO-radar, you may want to check it out. Go ahead and click on that link on your Adsense ad.

Don't like what you see? The good news is that you can configure it in your Adsense profile, or you can disable it completely.

You can also change your site name in AdSense to "this site" and it'll say "Advertise on this site" instead of "Advertise on [sitename]".
