Not only is this about the worst thing you could do to your affiliate partners, but it's just plain bad advice for end-users, at least without a warning that all their persistent sessions on other sites will be eliminated just so the user can see an updated sale price.

Maybe "Shift-refresh" would be better advice?

UPDATE: I just noticed, Oct 11, that the offending text has been removed. Took 'em a while, but good job.
They have removed it, but they have also lost the trust of their affiliates. I bet, a good number of their affiliates had ended relationship with them.
