Damn these are so cheap in the USA, in the UK the basic Kindle is £89! I think I will have to import one.

I was given the original kindle as a gift and it works perfect for uploading pdfs and being able to read them. I took a course and all the books were in pdf format. I wasn't stuck in front of the computer the whole time. I want a kindle fire. We'll see, maybe for Christmas.

I got a kindle as a present and it is definitely one of the best presents I have ever had. Keeping all my books on there, as well as being able to automatically download the latest newspapers and magazines is so helpful, as well as money saving. The range of free books is amazing as well.
