My gf lightly scratched my 65 inch Mitsubishi lenticular and Im bummed to say the least. I can get the new screens, freznel and lenticular, plus the screen tape and cleaner. Ive already downloaded the repair procedure and it doesnt sound too bad - but I also know theres a big difference in doing per se. Ive thought about making a square box type jig to set the bezel into with a 1/4 r approx raised center peice the keep the lenticular flat. The jig can be raise almost vertical to place the fresnel. I assume the screens come from the factory spotless and I have powderless nitrile gloves to handle the edges. I just want to make a barely scratched screen into some nightmare I cant get out of - but I have to try as I cant stand the thought of it being scratched... what are your thoughts?
