*This is NOT a request for color wheel, bulb, or ballast replacement instructions*

I have replaced my BP96-00674A color wheel, but in the process severed the 5-pin cabling from what I believe is the DMD PCB (there are 3 *unmarked* connectors in a row on the top right of the PCB – this is rightmost one). The connector is still in the receptacle on the PCB but is badly mangled from my "tweezing* it out. The wire is still in good shape, though separated from the connector.

My questions are these:

Can this cable/connector be replaced or repaired/soldered?

If so, where can I find resources to replace or repair?

Thanks in advance.

Have you found out anything?

I did the same thing and nobody locally wants to touch it.

Nope, havent found a thing.  I cant find the specific connector online either although I suspect any PC board repair shop would be familiar with a 5 pin surface mount connector such as this.  I also posted on another forum with no luck.

I'm thinking about taking it to an electronics shop.  This shouldnt be more than a $50 fix unless this connector is proprietary Samsung.

My connector actually broke off the circuit board. I should have diconnected the old wire off the color whell and used it instead of trying to disconnect the connector at the circuit board. I still had to pry, pick, etc. to get the old male part out of the female connector that was sodered on the board.

I have not found the connector either. I would think that one could solder the wires directly to the board and not use any connectors. It's going to take someone good as the solder points are very small.

Has anybody tried this?
