I figured it was about time for a change around here, so I had a new template done up.
I wanted to keep the action stream on the homepage, but I got a lot of complaints that it took up way too much space. So now it takes up a little tiny spot on the homepage.
There was some trickery involved to get disqus to play nice with the fancy display of comments in the blue speech bubbles, but it all seems to have worked out in the end. Thanks to Jason at Disqus for a quick response to a question that had the whole design waiting in the balance.
There is still a bit of cleanup work left to do, but I figured I’d push it out while the designer is still engaged to shake out any issues. Let me know what you think and if you see any issues. Now that I think about it, I haven’t looked at it at all on IE. Hope it’s ok. :/
