In my previous post, I shared that I’m looking to launch a parallel blog to this one and got a ton of great feedback on how it should be named.
I need a second blog because I want to write about stuff that doesn’t fit here on jangro.com.
But in all the great feedback, good ideas, and discussion on personal branding, one person loudly exclaimed that the emperor has no clothes.
There is no crisis here. It’s all in my head.
In fact, there’s no reason why I cannot write about more topics on this blog. As he pointed out, John Chow and Shoemoney do it. Why can’t I?
I simply need to get over myself and my own hang-ups about what this blog is really all about.
Jangro.com is not about affiliate marketing, it’s about what’s on my mind.
A very big part of me is affiliate marketing and social media, but I’m also:
- an engineer,
- a web publishing company owner,
- a web developer,
- a proud dad, a husband, and a son,
- a hopeless geek,
- an apple fanboy.
- a skier (a pretty good one),
- a runner (currently an infrequent one),
- a photographer (a poor one),
- and a golfer (a REALLY poor one).
Is there room for all that stuff here? Maybe there is.
So on this New Year’s Eve, I think I’ll reflect on that for a day or so.
Happy New Year to you and yours. I wish you all the success in 2009.
