From the New York Times:

In 2006, revenue from skirts, suits and shoes reached $18.3 billion, surpassing that from PCs, printers and word-processing programs, which totaled $17.2 billion, according to a report to be released today by a major trade group.

Factor in typical affiliate marketing commissions: 10%+ for apparel and 1% for computer hardware and now you’re talking some serious cash.

  • This is great news for non-techies like me. I couldn't write anything helpful about PCs, printers and programs but I do have a lot to say about skirts, suits, shoes and other apparel and accessories. I will be able to give my recommendations with confidence.

Hopefully, this development will spread out online income to those of us who aren't tech whizzes. :)
