Meet me at Affiliate Summit and local events

by Scott Jangro on 05 January 2007

I always enjoy getting together with people who know what the hell I’m talking about. And am a big fan of the “buddy system” when it comes to affiliate marketing and SEO.

Here are a few local events that caught my attention that I hope to attend.

Boston Affiliate Marketing Networking Roundtable Meetup Organized by Brian Hawkins at Pingo, in Burlington, MA on January 25, 2007

Greater Boston Webmasters Meetup
organized by Peter T. Davis. Stumbled on this in his blog. Wednesday Jan 17, location TBD.

And of course, I’ll be at affiliate summit in a few weeks. Affiliate Summit is going to be bigger than ever, so finding specific people will be a challenge. I’ve got a lot of old friends and while I expect this conference to be like a big family reunion for me, I’m hoping to meet lots of new people as well.

It’s too hard to set up a specific meeting with so much going on, but if you’re going and want to get on a mutual “let’s try to meet” list, comment here. Helps break the ice and avoid being an SEO loser!

  • Well, I don't have anything against any specific picture.

You merely look intense in this pic.

Anyway, I'll probably have the chance to snap some goofy shots of you at ASW and spray it all over the web.

    It's all good.

Have a great week ahead, rest up and get ready to go the full 90 yards (!) in Vegas!
  • Scott,
I'll finally get to see you in the flesh at ASW.

I'm trying to reconcile your very different looking profile pics on this blog and on MyBlogLog.

Will the real Scott Jangro please stand up?

    Seeya in Vegas
  • I may not always know what you're talking about, but looking forward to meeting up again in Vegas. We'll have a booth on the floor - hope you stop by.
  • No worries Scott, I've been called worse. ;)
  • We're going to have a big board at Affiliate Summit for people to leave messages for other attendees.

It might be total mayhem, but give that a shot for people you're trying to find.
  • Scott
Sorry Peter, I knew that. I'll fix it. I really shouldn't write these things at 2am.
I mixed you up with Brian Hawkins' first name.
  • Hi Scott, thanks for mentioning the Greater Boston Webmasters. I hope we can make it a regular thing, and worthwhile. BTW, it's 'Peter' not 'Brian'. ;)
    Thanks
    Peter
