Affiliate Summit West is just a few weeks away, and with the holidays, it’ll be here before we know it.
Here are a few of the great events that are going on…one every day. Be sure to get yourself on whatever lists you need to. There are too many people I’ve talked to at Summits in the past who “didn’t get on the list”.
Saturday: Buy.at Party
Affiliate Network Buy.at has thrown some amazing parties in the past, if you can get in. This one’s pretty exclusive, I think, but here’s a last ditch effort you can make to get in. Otherwise, you may just want to contact them to see about getting on the A-List.
Sunday: Shareasale Under the Stars
This Affiliate Summit Tradition is usually one of the highlights of the conference. Brian and the crew at ShareASale spare no expense.
Date: Sunday January 11th
Time: 8-12PM
Drinks (including 80s “spiked punch”), light appetizers, party favours, disco balls, etc…
DJ will play us our favourite 80s tunes all night.
(Yes, Brian’s a Chicagoan, but he spells like a Brit. Go figure.)
This year’s party is an 80’s theme and Brian’s got a call out for your prom pictures (if you’re old enough.) I’m right in the sweet spot and will be submitting my picture, though that may be a mistake.

In the past, you’ve needed a ticket to get in, which they give out at the meet market. Don’t get left out in the cold.
Monday: Football Fanatics Poker Tournament
This year’s new treat is a Poker Tournament sponsored by FootballFanatics. This is an invite-only 50 player tournament with great prizes. Should be a lot of fun.
Jason Rubacky is holding some contests to get yourself on the list. Be sure to keep an eye on the FF forum at ABW for details. Also check out the awesome Football Fanatics Blog for details.
Tuesday: Affiliate Summit 2009 West Affiliate Triathalon
Shawn and Missy always put on a fun competitive event and this year it’s an Affiliate Triathalon.
The entry fee is a $100 donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Good cause, good fun, sign up. I just did.
