Tim has published a follow up to his Blogger's Code of Conduct, complete with an analysis on all of the feedback he's received, including the use of badges and icons, the need for a "modular" code of conduct, "mechanism", and even legal issues.

There is lots of hullabaloo going around about Tim O'Reilly's "Blogger's Code of Conduct".
I understand where he's coming from, and it's an admirable effort.
But, a "code of conduct"? How about just some common sense.

I just pulled the plug on Askimet. Why would I do this to a plugin that's been saving me about 1000 spam comments a day? Because once in a while it caught up a real comment. While I appreciate the effort these guys go through to thwart ...
