Are you Opposed to Javascript Links at CJ?
I don’t think I’ve spoken to anyone who thinks it is a good idea.
The recent announcement that Commission Junction has made regarding their change to Javascript links has caused quite a stir. Angry affiliates are speaking out on message boards and in blogs. Others are pondering the move, seeing no possible good that can come of a change to only Javascript links for an affiliate marketing platform.
I’ve been personally speaking to people at CJ, but I thought I’d try something to help make more impact while remaining constructive.

[...] There was a lot of confusion and speculation recently over whether CJ was backing down on LMI altogether or just postponing the enforcement of the manadatory javascript link changes. James Zarley, during the ValueClick Q2 2006 Earnings Conference Call sheds some light on the issue with investors. It appears that the uproar in objections to this change from the affiliate community and Scott Jangro’s petition against LMI made a big impact after all. Good to know CJ is listening! [...]
